In our effort to try our best to
protect our communities during this time of uncertainty, Noble House Inc. joins
Project Ugnayan, a collaboration between several business groups in cooperation
with Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) in an initiative to aid
over 7 million locals in poor communities affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
Project Ugnayan has two components –
the first is Project Damayan led by Caritas Manila, which seeks to provide
P1,000 gift vouchers redeemable at supermarkets to more than 1 million families
in Greater Metro Manila. The second is the Pantawid ng Pag-ibig program led by
ABS-CBN. Food and basic necessities are purchased for those unable to make a
living during this crisis an handed over to local government units for distribution.
A recent update from PDRF reveals
that Project Damayan has reached 1.071 million families or 5,354,270
individuals while Pantawid Pag-ibig has given food packs to more than 230,000
families or 1,194,270 people.
Together with the project’s donors,
we share the same philosophy in this moment of crisis and are in full support
of Project Ugnayan’s vision to provide assistance where it can. Stay hopeful.
We will get through this together.
